Castaway PVA is a family run business that David Crookes inherited from his Dad who began the company in 1990. Originally, the business began manufacturing textiles like elastics, horse bandages and webbing for belt materials etc. Until gradually they moved into predominately developing fishing products. All of their products are made from PVA and they are specialists in water soluble materials specifically for the Fishing Industry. David took this business over in 2017 and they now export to 32 countries all over the world such as South Africa and America as this sport is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. Fishing is a passion of both David and his Dads due to its calming nature and they enjoy being hands on in the business on both the shop floor and the factory.

Castaway PVA use Sinclair and Rush specifically for our PETG Round Clear Tubes, we supply them with a huge range of sizes to organise and display all variations of products. Our tubes have become the PVA system that keeps all the water soluble products inside, away from moisture. If their products are not kept in our tubes they will dissolve before they have had the chance to be used. The bait goes into the tubes and as it is casted out in the mesh, it supplies bait to that area in the hope of a catch! Our tubes fully assist in this process.

David explained that previous to our PETG Clear Tubes, customers had bought one of their products from their shop and soon after they were returning asking for refunds because the products had melted before they had a chance to use them. They are now saving money because they are able to keep the products dry. Our Tubes and Poly Plugs also allow the products to be presented attractively at point of sale. 

All of the products available at Castaway PVA are environmentally friendly and this is advertised on the products. David and the team sent their products to Cardif University to be tested and they confirmed this. This includes our PETG Tubes we supply them. Made from re-cycled PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), at Sinclair and Rush re-use almost all of the waste generated from this process. So we are able to align with Castaway PVA's vision to be environmentally friendly supporting the industry the Fishing Industry well.
