Founded in 2011 and based in Poole, Dorset, Microaces is a niche business born out of co-founder Jon Porter's lifelong passion for model aircraft. With a background in sales, marketing, and IT, Jon and his business partner Simon Barr have turned their childhood love of radio-controlled mini aircraft into a thriving small business. Microaces designs, manufactures, and distributes these intricate models, along with electronic components, to a global market.
Despite being a small business (the two of them and Percy the Patter-Jack!), Microaces has built a worldwide customer base, with fans from the UK, the US, and beyond. Their online shop and workshop, which local customers can visit, reflect their hands-on approach and commitment to quality.
When it came to packaging their smaller products, such as 3D-printed parts and electronic components, Microaces needed a solution that was compact, professional, and easy to assemble.
