Sinclair & Rush were approached by a company looking to purchase grips to support a product they were building. The product has been developed to provide children, short-stature and other adults with support and security when both moving and sitting on the toilet. The product consists of a leg stand that is a buildable footstall, armrests and support handle based on the individual needs of the user. The USP for this product is that you have free reign to build it as you wish and this doesn't affect the performance.
As part of their requirements, they requested that the grip was made with a phthalate-free material. This isn't something as part of our standard range so it was referred to the technical custom requirement team to consider. Through conversation with our Sales Executive, Pierre, they found the correct material and requested a sample was sent to them.
After promptly receiving their samples, they put them through testing and found they were a perfect match for the product they were developing. Following their testing, they placed an order with us and received the parts quickly, ensuring their product could then be manufactured in line with their own time scales.
The customer reported back that they were extremely satisfied with the service they received throughout the process with S&R, also commenting that 'we find the phthalate-free version to be more flexible, soft and grip-friendly. It also has a nice gloss and depth in its colour.'
