Sinclair & Rush Partners with Communigrow for Community Impact Project

Sinclair & Rush is delighted to announce our charitable partnership with Communigrow, a sustainable food education charity based in East Malling, Kent. Our recent donation of £100 will support the growth of their vegetable garden, and we are honoured to have our name displayed on a sponsor plaque within their beautiful gardens.

About Communigrow

Established in 2014, Communigrow is dedicated to reconnecting people with the origins of their food through hands-on educational experiences in responsible farming. Operating on a 2.4-acre field, they cultivate a variety of seasonal produce using organic methods, emphasizing sustainability and environmental stewardship. Their initiatives include practical field sessions for schools and community groups, offering opportunities in propagation, maintenance, harvesting, cooking, and eating. The produce grown is distributed to local communities, promoting health and well-being through access to fresh, locally grown food.

Our Contribution

Our £100 donation is aimed at enhancing Communigrow's vegetable garden, facilitating the cultivation of a diverse range of crops. This contribution will aid in providing educational opportunities for individuals of all ages, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainable food production. In recognition of our support, a sponsor plaque bearing our name will be placed in their gardens, symbolising our commitment to community engagement and environmental education.

Ellie in our Marketing team says: "It has been a pleasure donating to such a wonderful charity that supports not only sustainability but helping those in the community to have a purpose and watch them create something beautiful! I really enjoy this aspect of my job learning and helping wonderful charities such as Communigrow"

The Impact of Our Partnership

By supporting Communigrow, we are contributing to:

  • Educational Outreach: Enabling hands-on learning experiences in sustainable agriculture for children, young people, and adults.

  • Community Health: Promoting access to fresh, chemical-free produce, thereby enhancing local health and well-being.

  • Environmental Stewardship: Advancing organic farming practices that benefit the ecosystem and encourage biodiversity.

Here at Sinclair & Rush with a commitment to innovation, quality, and community involvement, we strive to make a positive impact both through our products and our corporate social responsibility initiatives.

We look forward to a fruitful partnership with Communigrow and are excited about the positive outcomes our collaboration will bring to the community. Together, we aim to cultivate not just vegetables, but also knowledge, health, and a sustainable future.
