Sinclair & Rush Strategic Account Manager, Jim Terry, recently visited Spain to attend the Metal Madrid trade fair and the prestigious Spanish Automotive Industry Leader of the Year Awards. The visit marked an important step in strengthening Sinclair & Rush's long-standing partnership with Polisol Plasticos SL, a key player in the Spanish automotive and manufacturing sectors.
Strengthening Partnerships at Metal Madrid
The primary purpose of the trip was to connect with Polisol Plasticos SL, who were once again exhibiting at Metal Madrid—a leading industrial trade fair held annually at the IFEMA Complex in Madrid. Recognised as one of Spain’s premier expos, Metal Madrid is part of the broader Advanced Manufacturing Madrid event, which also includes Composites Madrid and Robomática Madrid.
The event brings together over 600 exhibitors and attracts more than 12,000 professionals from sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and electronics. Featuring live demonstrations, workshops, and conferences, Metal Madrid serves as a hub for industry innovations, with a focus on areas like artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, and sustainability.

Held on November 20 at the IFEMA Complex, the 34th edition of the awards began with heartfelt acknowledgments to the victims of the recent DANA storm, emphasising resilience and recovery for affected communities in Spain.

- Constructor/OEM Category: José Arreche, Director of the Martorell Factory of SEAT S.A.
- Supplier Category: María Pilar Carruesco, Country Manager of AutoForm in Spain and Portugal.

- Technological Innovation: KUKA, for groundbreaking contributions to the industry.
