The purpose of this is for our people to get to know you a little bit better, in a fun and relaxing way. So let’s get right into it…
First of all, Congratulations on your 15th year Work Anniversary. Thank you for all your hard work over the past 15 years. We are all very proud of you.
Looking back over the past 15 years, why do you think you’ve stayed at S&R for such a long time?
"I enjoy the work… Setting the machines, forklift driving, cleaning the tanks, organising all the material for all the shifts."
What do you enjoy most about your job?
"I really like that there is a lot of variety in all the jobs that I do each day."
What do you enjoy least about your job?
"Sometimes I don’t like cleaning the large tanks, like the UPT’s. I have to get inside the tanks and it’s quite a dirty job so it wouldn’t be my favourite. But that’s about it really."
Now onto the more fun stuff… What do you do to relax when you’re not at work?
"I enjoy socialising with my friends, playing pool, going to watch football with them sometimes. I also love fishing, especially night fishing. Just not at the moment because it’s still a bit cold. I also enjoy going for walks along the river and in the summer time I enjoy going to the beach."
