The purpose of this is for our people to get to know you a little bit better, in a fun and relaxing way. So let’s get right into it…
First of all, Congratulations on your 15 year Work Anniversary. Thank you for all your hard work over the past 15 years. We are all very proud of you. I bet you have seen so many changes over the past years and most definitely the biggest change is the appointment of your husband Mark to that of Managing Director. I’m sure you are very proud of him. Do you feel any different being the wife of the MD in your role at work?
"If anything, it’s made me more conscious and aware to perhaps work a bit harder so that no one thinks I’m slacking off just because I’m the MD’s wife. I don’t want people to feel that I get any special privileges at work because of my husband. I want to be valued for the work I do not for who my husband is."
As a wife and mother of three children, how do you manage to juggle a demanding job with running a family home as well.
"I work to the school term-time calendar so that makes it a bit easier for me. I’ve always been one for routine and I believe that keeping a routine in the family makes the day-to-day stuff a bit less stressful. Having said that, Mark’s support of the family is massive. Even though we both work hard every day, we work together on our family which is a huge benefit."
What’s the best part of working for Sinclair & Rush?
"The flexibility of my job and the people. They are all very approachable and are happy to help whenever anyone needs help."
Now onto the more fun stuff… What do you do to relax when you’re not at work?
"Walking - I love walking the dogs - ideally I would like to do a bit more walking because I really enjoy it. I like swimming at the gym as well as doing a gym workout. The children’s after-school activities also keep me busy. And finally, as a family we love the outdoors and enjoy Eurocamping as often as we possibly can."
