At Sinclair & Rush, we like to think that all of our products serve a range of purposes and applications. With our focus this week being on grips, we thought we would take a look at why the maintenance and replacement of hand grips are so important.
Predominantly, Hand Grips are used on thousands of products to finish control surfaces and cushion users hands from unnecessary vibrations.
Day to day, it is very easy to forget that these important products are part of a larger piece of equipment but the benefits of them being there are very important. For example, on a Mountain Bike, they provide a stable and comfortable handlebar ensuring safety is maintained and on gym equipment, the help to increase grip on large pieces of machinery so concentration during workouts can be maintained.
As with any product, the most important aspect of grips is the maintenance. Overtime, due to general wear and tear, the quality of the grip will begin to diminish and these will require replacement. This is straightforward to complete and it's much more cost effective to replace the grip than to replace the entire product. Importantly, if these are not replaced, there could be various health and safety issues as well as the various products not being overly comfortable to use.
