Exciting Expansion Underway at Sinclair & Rush Rochester Facility

We are thrilled to share some exciting developments at Sinclair & Rush! 🚧 The extension of our Rochester facility is officially underway, marking a significant milestone for our business.

Why the Expansion?

Previously, our operations in Rochester, Kent, were split across two buildings: one dedicated to despatch and storing the parts,  and the other housing production and other roles. This setup, while functional, presented logistical challenges. To improve efficiency and foster better communication between team members, we’ve embarked on a project to extend one of the buildings.

By bringing all operations under one roof, we’ll not only streamline our processes but also achieve significant cost savings by consolidating into a single, larger space. This will help avoid further price increases to our valued customers.

Project Highlights

• Efficient Design: The expansion will feature new roofing, cladding, and insulated flooring to ensure a warmer, more comfortable workspace during the winter months.
• Improved Storage: Additional racking will be installed, creating space for more pallets and enhancing organization.
• Upgraded Infrastructure: Midbrook Steel Fabricators, our trusted partner for this project, has already begun the three-stage process of digging, laying foundations, and preparing the site for construction. By mid-January, electrics, lighting, and racking will be fully installed.
• Enhanced Site Security: Fencing will be added around the back of the facility for improved security.

Timeline

We anticipate the new space will be ready for our team to move in by March. Until then, we’re making steady progress, with key milestones already completed, such as the offloading of steelworks and groundwork preparations.
